From 23 to 25 September 2025, the Sub-Regional Seminar on “Risk Analysis and Search Techniques in Drug-Related Offences” was held in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan.
The seminar was organized by the Regional Office for Capacity Building for the WCO Europe Region (ROCB Europe), in cooperation with the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the support of the Narcotics Enforcement Academy (NEA, Türkiye) and the Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Centre (CARICC).
In accordance with the official invitation extended by ROCB Europe, a representative of the Training Centre of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan took part in the seminar. During the event, he gained valuable knowledge on modern approaches to risk analysis, techniques for detecting narcotics concealed in vehicles and containers, as well as the practical use of canine units in counter-narcotics operations.
