On 23 October 2025, representatives of the Training Centre under the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan took part in the international scientific and practical conference “Customs Research — 2025”, organized by the Institute of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event was held in a videoconference format.

The conference brought together representatives of the customs authorities of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Russia, and Belarus.

At present, the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan is implementing large-scale initiatives aimed at developing digital systems, establishing “smart customs” checkpoints, introducing artificial intelligence technologies, and enhancing the efficiency of customs operations. During the conference, the Service’s representatives delivered presentations highlighting their advanced experience, achievements, and ongoing innovative projects in these areas.

Such international events foster active exchange of expertise, dissemination of best practices in customs digitalization, and strengthening of partnerships among customs administrations of various countries. Regular participation in similar forums opens up new opportunities for improving customs practices and advancing international cooperation.
