Yesterday, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the President of the country, made a working trip to Ahal Velayat, where he got acquainted with the progress of work on the construction of a new modern administrative center of this region, and also held a meeting with the participation of relevant leaders, having discussed topics concerning the successful implementation of this large-scale project and the fulfillment of previously given instructions.

As is known, on May 28 of this year, Arkadag, having familiarized himself with the ongoing work on the construction of facilities on the territory of the new velayat center, exchanged views on issues related to increasing the pace of construction and put forward a number of proposals.

Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the Center of Akhal Velayat D. Orazov and Hyakim of the new modern administrative center of Akhal Velayat Sh. Durdylyev informed about the increase in the pace of construction of the center these days.

Projects and plans of objects under construction and intended for construction on the territory of the center were presented to Arkadag for consideration. As noted, in accordance with the instructions of the head of state, the principles of national architecture and best practices should be combined during construction.

Particular attention was paid to the sketch of the sculpture of the legendary horse Akhan, the schemes of its location, as well as the projects of objects along Akhan Avenue, which were developed taking into account the best practices and soil and climatic conditions of this corner of nature.

Having approved the submitted projects, Arkadag made a number of comments and appropriate adjustments.

As Hero-Arkadag noted, the creation of a new city in one of the beautiful corners of the foothills of the Kopetdag will be a visible result of the implementation of new architectural solutions of the Renaissance era of the new era of a powerful state, another confirmation of the dynamic development of our country, confidently moving forward to new heights of progress.

Further, Hero-Arkadag, guided by the instructions of the head of state, discussed with the relevant leaders issues related to the organization by the Committee of a business trip to Vietnam of a group consisting of specialized specialists, including builders, in order to improve their skills and exchange experience with partners from developed countries.

Chairman of the Committee D. Orazov informed that in order to supply the marble necessary for the construction of facilities in the country on economically beneficial terms, negotiations were held with business structures from around the world, including Vietnamese production structures, on its purchase and training of specialists.

Improving the professional level and experience of Turkmen builders will ensure the high quality of the planned construction works and their compliance with modern requirements.

As Hero-Arkadag emphasized, the use of high-quality building materials in the construction and decoration of the facilities of the new administrative center of the Akhal velayat, their full compliance with local climatic conditions, high environmental standards and other requirements, in particular, for decor, is the main requirement today.

At the same time, an important place is given to raising the professional level of builders.

Turning to a conversation about the vineyard plantations and orchards located on the western side of the new center, Hero-Arkadag inquired about the characteristics of the grapes and fruit trees grown here.

It was reported that various types of grapes and fruit trees grow here, including peach.

Focusing on the fact that this area has favorable natural and climatic conditions for the development of viticulture and horticulture, Arkadag noted that the work carried out here will not only strengthen food abundance in the country, but also improve the environment.

Expansion of areas allocated for fruit trees in different regions of Turkmenistan, development of viticulture are of great importance for increasing the efficiency of the processing industry, increasing production capacity for the production of import-substituting goods.

Further, the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the Administrative Center of Akhal Velayat D. Orazov, noting that truly historically significant activities are being carried out, voiced a proposal to build the central building of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship in the new center of the region.

In this context, the head of the Committee requested the creation of a department for working with the museum, library and photographs at the center.

As noted, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, established on the initiative of Haji Arkadag, carries out a lot of charitable work, provides huge support to children to improve their health, and appropriate health-improving and rehabilitation activities. There was a request to give permission for exhibiting in the museum of valuables representing information about the activities carried out by the Foundation from the first days of its creation.

In this regard, D. Orazov appealed to Hero-Arkadag to convey information to the head of state, as well as to obtain permission to carry out the relevant work.

Speaking about the importance of building a center that embodies the modern experience of the national construction industry, Arkadag noted that the work carried out here is of great historical importance and approved the proposal to collect information about all stages of construction work in one place, and assured that he would convey the request to the head of state Chairman of the Committee.

Further, Hero-Arkadag visited the vineyards and plantations of the economic department of the military and law enforcement agencies located on the western side of the new administrative center, where he inquired about the characteristics of cultivated crops.

The head of the economic department of the military and law enforcement agencies of the country, Ch. Amanov, informed that there are 40 hectares of agricultural land belonging to the Department, on which various varieties of fruit trees are grown, including 4 varieties of peach, raisin grapes.

The head of the economic department also said that it was a great honor for them that Arkadag came to them and got acquainted with the working and living conditions, and assured that, thanks to the opportunities created by the state, they would make every effort to successfully fulfill the tasks set, make a worthy contribution to ensuring food abundance in the country.

In this regard, Hero-Arkadag focused on the need for scientific study of issues related to the expansion of areas allocated for these crops. Ensuring an abundance of fresh vegetables and fruits in domestic markets is an important requirement of today. This is of particular importance in the light of the well-being of our people, as well as for creating a favorable environment.

Arkadag was also presented with early varieties of fruits grown on land belonging to the economic management of military and law enforcement agencies.

Ch. Amanov turned to Arkadag with a request to give a name to a new grape variety, which was created on the experimental field of the Department.

Referring to the saying “Dile geldi – bile geldi”, the Arkadag scientist, taking into account that the village of Kyarizek is visible from this place, proposed to name the new grape variety “Kyarizek” and emphasized that nature itself created a favorable environment here and there are water sources for growing fruits, vegetables and gourds.

Arkadag said that from historical information it is known that there are various types of fruit trees and vineyards here, which was important in providing the population with fruits and vegetables.

All this is clear evidence that at present the state pays great attention to the development of noble agricultural traditions that we inherited from our ancestors, which contributes to improving the well-being of the people.
