From October 14 to 16, 2025, a delegation of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan conducted a working visit to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The trip was organized by Abu Dhabi Customs in cooperation with the United Nations International Trade Centre.
The visit, held under the theme “Digitalization and Automation of Customs Operations: Learning from Advanced Practices in Implementing Artificial Intelligence Systems,” included familiarization with the activities of AD Ports Group and Abu Dhabi Customs, as well as attendance at the GITEX Global 2025 international exhibition in Dubai.
During the visit, the delegation studied the implementation of artificial intelligence in customs processes, integration of information systems, improvement of risk management frameworks, and best practices in the digitalization of customs operations applied in the UAE.
